This cute stamp set caught my eye a few weeks ago and I've been waiting for a chance to use it. I love this image of the dog "taking a dip" to cool off by playing with a hose. These dog images are adorable so I included a photo of the stamp set at the end of this post. I am entering it into four challenges and using some interpretative license in doing so.
The sunburst and circles were die cut and the dog and a few water splashes was stamped, colored and fussy cut. The sentiment was stamped, colored and cut with a trimmer and the inside of the card was decorated with stamping and coloring. The sentiment and the center circle were backed with foam and popped up and the dog was also backed with foam to add further dimension.

Such a cute stamp and card. Your little doggie is adorable! Thanks for playing along with us at Just Us Girls!
ReplyDeleteI wish my dog would like playing with water that much... I can't get him to swim. :) Very cute card and such awesome stamps! Thanks for joining us at Inkspirational!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! That dog is just too cute, looks like the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day! Great layering and design. :)
ReplyDeleteHaving just commented on the post directly above this, it's amazing how the same sentiment can be used on two completely different cards and still work! This is such a fun card and the dog is so cute. Love the design - like a partial sunburst. The background colours remind me of little bit of fireworks. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLove everything you did with your card, the sunburst on your design paper, the focal point and image is adorable and great coloring...a total package of great inspiration. And again the sentiment. But you know Mel, I keep looking at your product used and I don't see anything from Cricut...#what's up
