Happy Camper Birthday - CAS

My card was completely inspired by the requirements of two challenges. I downloaded digital images instead of using traditional stamps so I could reduce the size of the critters in order to keep the card at an A2 size.

On the card base, a panel of white cardstock was adhered. A panel of tan cardstock was embossed with stitched wood grain
using a die. The trees were punched and the tent was a digital image, resized, fussy cut and backed with foam tape. The flaps on the tent were paper pieced. The three deer were also resized and fussy cut and then colored with dye markers. They were adhered to die cut circles backed with foam tape. A smattering of leaves were added. The sentiment was also a digital download. The inside of the card was lined
with a panel of white cardstock and decorated with punched trees and a few die cut leaves.

The card is being submitted to two challenges. Be sure to visit the blogs for creative ideas.

  2. Hi Melanie, what a lot of thought you've put into your card! Certainly you've combined the two challenges brilliantly. You've also combined the various stamping products and digi stamps beautifully. Love the way you resized those deer to fit the circles. Such happy colours, too. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  9. Such cute little deer... and all lined up along the side. This is an adorable birthday card for an outdoorsy individual, possibly even with a Christmas time birthday with the colour choice. So cute.
