Part of this challenge includes the option to link your card to the Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge #17. I selected Birthday, Things that Fly and Sponging.
Using Staz-on Jet Black ink the birds were stamped onto white cardstock. The image was filled in with a black ink marker. Ensuring the ink was dry, three colors of dye ink were sponged onto the image. This was trimmed down and matted with black cardstock. A panel of patterned paper was added to a black card base and the focal point was added using foam tape. I adhered pearls and the die-cut sentiment. The inside was lined with white cardstock and decorated with matching patterned paper.

Stamp: Stampin' Up! "Free As a Bird"
Inks: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin' Up! Bashful Blue, Wisteria Wonder, Peach Parfait, Copic Alcohol Marker (black)
Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Whisper White & Basic Black
Patterned Paper: CTMH "My Reflections"

Love that background and the birds are so striking in black.
ReplyDeleteLove the brightness of the background paper against your silhouette of the birds...I like your creativity to make your silhouette by coloring in the stamp set. Love the focal point brushed background and how you carried up the yellow as well. Beautiful card.
