12/29/2024: This was a Favorite of the Week at Splitcoast Stampers!
Here it is - time for another biweekly challenge at Color Dare. This is Challenge #631, ending on Thursday, December 26, 2024. The color board is below. When I brought up this graphic on my desktop the deep rose color looked red, so that's what I used.
My first decision was to make this an A6 card so the large die-cut image would not be crowded. The die-cut leaf image was created in white, colored with blending brushes, and then adhered to the embossed white cardstock panel. The flowers were also die-cut (four small flowers and four large flowers). The flowers were adhered using foam tape. White enamel dots were colored with a lime-inked Copic marker and placed in the flower centers.
To complete the card, the sentiment was stamped and backed in red cardstock and three shiny red gem stickers were added before the panel was adhered to a red card base. The inside was lined with a panel of white cardstock and then decorated with a red flower and color-blended leaves.
Thank you for stopping in to view my card. Please leave a comment. Enjoy!

Love the bold flowers with the soft leaves. Your background gives the illusion of the flowers moving in the breeze.
ReplyDeleteMel, this card is gorgeous and deserving of a favorite... congratulations.
