St. Valentine's Day
This is the card I made for my husband, Bob. Masculine cards are a challenge for me so I started this card using only the sketch from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #94 for inspiration, which has a decidedly Valentine theme. The interior is stamped with a red heart, leaving sufficient space to write a note.Techniques: Die cutting, stamping, punching
Recipe: Products are from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted:
Stamps: Settin' Sail stamp set
Dies: Spellbinders circle dies
Inks: Real Red, Memento Tuxedo Black
Marker (non-alcohol): Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White
Other: Confetti Hearts Border Punch, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon (Basic Black), Ranger Glossy Accents
Size: A2 (5.50" x 4.25")
Visit the Atlantic Hearts blog for card ideas and challenge information.
I like the heart punch at the top of the card.
