Growing up near the seashore and learning to sail at a young age makes me love all things nautical. I was inspired to create this card for a few challenges.
A panel of cardstock was adhered to the card base. The background of the art panel was sponged onto white cardstock using a masking technique: a torn paper for the mountains and a die for the clouds. The boat was stamped, colored and fussy cut, then backed with foam and popped up on the scene. A white gel pen provided the watery foam.

The card front was adhered to the card base. A sentiment was stamped onto a banner, edge-sponged and popped up. The inside was decorated with a stamped lighthouse image.
