A friend let me use her Jeepers Creepers paper collection for my card because I don't have many of the colors in this challenge. For the sketch challenge, I reversed the sketch. The card base is white and decorated with a strip of orange glitter paper and a strip of cardstock. A panel of black cardstock was adhered to the card base and then a panel of orange glitter paper. Next, three small panels were backed with foam tape and adhered. The creepy critter was fussy cut from coordinating paper and adhered to two die cut circles. His ugly teeth were drawn with a journaling pen. The sentiment also came from the paper and was adhered with the popped up circles on top.
I am submitting the card to the following challenges:1. Color My Heart: Color Dare #213:
2. Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge #136 (reversed):
3. The Paper Players Theme Challenge #315:

ReplyDeleteMel, love how you coordinated the argyle, plaid and Jeepers Creepers design papers, great matching. What a cute creepy critter, but did I read fussy-cut....uuuum. Thanks for joining us at Color Dare.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the little guy would work on the Scan n Cut because he had no defined outline - just the pale color on white.
DeleteMel - always love that you do something with the inside of your cards. The zip strip makes the perfect sentiment. I only like cute Halloween things so this fits my bill perfectly! Thank you for being a regular at Color My Heart Color Dare, I always look forward to your entries.
ReplyDeleteVery cute Halloween card - and Halloween is not my "thing" either. I do love that stamp set with the creatures, though. They are adorable. I wouldn't have thought to add the shade of orange glitter paper that you chose but it works. Nice :)
