The mornings are so pleasant now that fall has arrived in Arizona. I enjoy sitting on the screened porch with my coffee while my pretty cat watches the birds come to the feeders. Today I made another fall card for a few challenges.
On vanilla cardstock, the wreath was stamped in two steps then die cut and backed with foam tape. The card base interior was lined with vanilla cardstock and decorated with three leaves die cut from scrap DSP. On the front of the base, a panel of Elegant Eggplant cardstock was adhered, then a panel of Very Vanilla. A fancy rectangle was die cut and adhered at an angle. Onto the card, the wreath was popped up for dimension. The bow and sentiment were die cut from the Eggplant cardstock, coated with glossy accents and adhered to the card. The sequins were also added.

Melanie, this card has all the brilliance of the rich fall colors! Love the panel at an angle and the shine of the bow and sentiment. Thanks so much for sharing this with the PPA color challenge this week. Hope to see you in our gallery often!
ReplyDeleteMelanie, absolutely beautiful. You really captured the colors well. Super job, especially your off center pieces. Love the entire card! Thank you for your beautiful work of art and for playing with us for PPA321.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combination of the two challenges, Melanie. Love the way you've used that Designer Paper as the background for your festive wreath. The Elegant Eggplant looks wonderful with that layer of glossy accents. It gives it a very solid look and wonderful sheen for both your sentiment and your ribbon. Thanks for sharing and joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful Melanie! I love this color combination and your wreath turned out perfectly! Love the shimmery bow. :)

ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely fall card! The glossy accents are perfect with these beautiful colors. Thanks for joining Pals Paper Arts this week!
ReplyDeleteThat background paper has such a perfect design for fall - and the wreath is just the right colour combination. An awesome autumn card as the season is in full swing with the leaves changing (maybe not in Arizona, but in other locations...)
ReplyDeleteAlmost looks like the one panel you have on an angle was stamped...I didn't see any listed but it looked like the stamps we got from the Flower Market, which you have inspired me to use those stamps much like your design paper. Beautiful die on the wreath and the bow looks like glass.
