Everlasting Love Valentine

02/07/2017 Update: Artist Pick at Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #256!

My card has been made for two challenges - one a sketch and the other a color. I decided to do another Valentine so I'll have a few for my family members.
On a white card base, two panels of cardstock were adhered. On a separate panel of white cardstock, the ink pad was applied directly to the masked paper to achieve the pink color. Above, the panel was masked and dusted with an ink brush for a light touch of color.
A die was used to cut the circular design - once in the aqua color for the frame and once from the designer paper with the writing on it. The DSP was backed with foam tape and adhered. The aqua frame was inlaid and adhered directly to the panel's surface. The hearts were punched from a scrap of inked paper, adhered and decorated with Glossy Accents. The sentiment was cut from a die set and adhered with foam tape. The inside was decorated with a die cut that says, "Be My Valentine," and a few of the punched hearts.
The two challenges are:

  3. Looks like your turquoise flourish die cut is and hearts are hugging the circle and the sentiment fits in so well with this design. Not to mention your background is really sharp. You could probably include this with the AHSC this week.
