Color challenges with striking combinations are plentiful and I found one that really interested me - blue, purple, silver and white. The layout was inspired by a sketch challenge and I used a Valentine theme, turning the silver embossed Ferris Wheel cars from cupcakes into clear embossed hearts.
On a scrap of white cardstock, Versamark ink was applied and heat embossed with a layer of purple powder and a second layer of clear powder. The cars on the wheel are images of cupcakes but I covered them with hearts punched from the purple embossed paper. The hearts were backed with foam tape and adhered. On a panel of blue, the moon and stars were heat embossed in silver and the scroll in purple.
