Friendship Shaker Card
Taking monthly Copic classes for the past five or six months has been most helpful in learning coloring techniques. Part of the fun is that we can bring our colored image home and turn it into a card. The cardstock and papers are included with our stamped image and we can assemble and embellish as we wish.
I needed an idea for a shaker card for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday June Technique Challenge so this card was perfect. I hope you'll visit our challenge blog and play along. Our technique challenges are open for the month. We also have weekly sketch or color challenges.
The image was stamped, colored and fussy cut. The white cardstock was die cut with scallops and dry embossing with a dotted folder. The blue gingham patterned paper was cut with an uneven stitched frame die and a cloud die. The elements were layered onto a white card base including the shaker technique with tiny particles that sparkle. Once completed, the sentiment was stamped and adhered with foam tape as well as the bunny image.
Visit us at the TSOT June Technique Challenge! Our challenge last from June 1, 2018 through month-end so there is plenty of time to develop your shaker project. Be sure to take a look at our other challenges as well. We'd enjoy having you join in.
