Celebrate Good Times
Another Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge! Challenge #295 is calling for Glacier, Nutmeg and New England Ivy or close substitutes. A three-step stamp set was the inspiration for this card so I was looking for an opportunity to use it.
On a panel of white cardstock, the step one heart image was stamped in the lightest color. The small sentiments were stamped in brown ink. The streamers were stamped in dark green. The panel was adhered to the brown cardstock card base. Three additional hearts were stamped using the three-step technique. Although there is a die set, I elected to fussy cut because I did not want a white border around the cut hearts. A Copic marker was used to color the edges of the cut hearts and they were adhered to the card with foam tape. Glossy accents were used on the three balloons. The balloon strings were drawn by hand. The sentiment was added. The inside of the card was lined with white cardstock and decorated with an additional heart. Glossy Accents was added to give the three primary balloons some depth and shine.
I hope you'll visit our Color Dare Blog and play along using our suggested colors. You may be eligible for a prize!
