Merry Christmas with Washi Tape
Here is the second card I made for Double Trouble Challenge #53. To see my first card and challenge details, click HERE.
Onto a panel of cardstock, I crisscrossed five different Washi tapes to create what looks like the ribbon on a package. The poinsettia pieces were die cut from red glitter cardstock and adhered to the front panel. The front was decorated with red rhinestones and gold sequins. I chose to omit a sentiment for now. The panel was adhered to a card base using foam tape. The inside was decorated with a smaller die-cut poinsettia on a gold foil doily.
Be sure to visit the Double Trouble Challenge Blog #53 to join the challenge.

That tape does look like the wrapping around a gift - and the layered poinsettia is the perfect final touch :)
ReplyDeleteMel, what a beautiful Christmas card, I think we can all appreciate going into our washi tape and using it, who needs design paper, well I guess we still need it; but surely this is an super inspiration for all to use washi tape.
