Make a Wish

My card for this color challenge developed from wanting to use a die that I've had for a while but never used. The color challenge can be found at Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #297. All we ask is that you use these three colors or products that are a close match to the swatches below.

Panels of cardstock were adhered to a white card base. After studying the die, I elected to cut two images and then trim away part of the design including the flowers. The two remaining pieces were adhered to the card. Punches were used to cut the little flowers and they were adhered. The sentiment was stamped, die cut and adhered to a coordinating die cut oval then adhered using foam tape for dimension. One little punched flower was added. From scrap, tiny pieces of confetti were created and adhered randomly. The inside of the card was decorated with more of the punched flowers.

I hope you'll visit the Color Dare Challenge Blog and join in the fun. There may still be time to join in challenge #296 and you could be eligible for a prize!

  4. I love everything about this card - the flourish with the flowers is gorgeous. The slight bit of Sorbet background between the white and dark (that doesn't go all the way around) is brilliant because it is just enough to emphasize the flowers in your design. So well thought out!
