Time to make a card with a twist for two challenges...
On October 1, 2018,
Double Trouble Challenge #11 (DTC) and
Crafter's Café #205 (CCCB) have joined forces to bring you a fun challenge!
In order to meet the requirements as a DT member at
CCCB, I used the sponsor's digital
image and created the card with black and white and only ONE additional color. Our sponsor is
Wink Wink Ink.
You are not required to use a digital image for this challenge.
Next, addressing the three "Things" at
DTC, I went with a masculine theme, including the color requirements for Thing #1. Submitting my card at
CCCB satisfied Thing #2 (optional) and in order to play along with Thing #3 (also optional) I used a vehicle, reminiscent of my husband's favorite 25-yr old pickup truck that has been sold and is now being used on a farm in Mexico.
The truck image was free clip art found on the Internet and the dog image was provided by the
CCCB sponsor,
Wink Wink Ink. This digi store has lots of sweet images for many occasions. The images were downloaded, resized, colored and fussy cut. On a white card base, a border of trees was die cut for the background. The dog was inserted as if looking out of the truck window and the truck was popped up on foam tape for dimension. The clouds were die cut and sponged with ink matching the truck. The clouds were popped up with foam tape. The inside of the card was decorated with a larger image of
"Spot". No sentiment has been used but can be added in the future.
We'd love to have you visit both challenge blogs,
CCCB #205 and
DTC #11 and submit your design.
Just a little note to advise that I am aware that pets should not be permitted to ride in vehicles with their faces in the wind. It can cause harm to their ears and eyes.

How cute! I love the tree line background and the sweet, fluffy clouds. You puppy in the truck is pretty cute too! :)
ReplyDeleteI think you're little doggy is just adorable - he actually looks like he is waiting for his owner to return so he can pop into the passenger seat and be off for his ride.
