Double Trouble Challenge #90 is up on the challenge blog one day early! There is a temporary tweak in dates during August so watch our dates carefully as you play along. This challenge started on Sunday, August 1, and ends on Thursday evening, August 19.
The three "Things" for this challenge are:
Thing 1 (required): Trouble Maker would like you to use at least one animal in celebration of International Cat Day.
Thing 2 (optional): Double Dare is hoping you'll link up with our challenge partner, Two Crafty Critter Crazies #53.
Thing 3 (optional): Twisted Sister loves puns. Include a pun related to the critter in your design.
Several years ago I attended a series of Copic classes. My card today is an image I colored in one of the classes. I never turned it into a card until I saw that International Cat Day is on August 8 and the image would work for this challenge.
We hope you'll play along with our challenge by visiting the DTC90 Blog. We offer a randomly selected award. And for an extra chance at the random prize, join in at 2CCC53. Double Trouble is also giving away a one-time generous prize valued at $50, so be sure to take a look.

Melanie, I adore the cat on your card and the coloring is fantastic! Your own Sluggo is so sweet. I, too, have feral-born cats who have all placed their trust in me but run and hide from anyone who visits. :-D While I'm here, let me put on a DT hat - Thanks so much for playing in our "Anything Goes with a Critter" challenge this month at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies. Good luck in the draw.

How nice to hear from you, Connie! Thank you for your kind words. I always enjoy seeing the cat photos on your blog, and, yes, Sluggo is a sweetie. BTW, he has me well-trained!
DeleteThat cat on the card - such a perfect depiction of many cats! Love the plaid paper you used. Sluggo - he is so sweet! Pets certainly touch our lives in ways we can never even imagine :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute card! Love the layering and the colors are perfect. Such a sweet picture of you and your kitty too! :)
ReplyDeleteadorable card and the kitty in the tree amazingly has much the same facial expression as Sluggo. As many times I have visited with you and Sluggo I have only seen him twice outside of when I lay on the floor of the bedroom, offer him snacks talk to him hiding under the bed... to no avail. I guess 'I'll eat worms' I enjoy seeing him on Zoom, he's so loveable.
ReplyDeleteAw your sweet fur baby is adorable! I love that he decided it was good to be a house cat! And I love his name :) Your card of a kitty in a tree is just perfect!
ReplyDeletePawsitivitely adorable card & kittie!
