Have a BEE-autiful Birthday!

This card is made with one of my favorite paper collections. There are many different designs that work together beautifully. I used five of the paper designs in the collection to create my card. This collection also includes stamps and dies that coordinate with the paper. Even after the paper is retired, the designs can be replicated with the stamps and dies.

My card was inspired by a sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #381, starting on October 9, 2018 and running for two weeks. I turned the sketch on its side and relocated the white element. Visit the blog and join the challenge! There is an additional optional element to the challenge to use twine, string or a ribbon.

I die cut the floral spray and the bee from two of the papers in the collection. The sentiment was computer generated then die cut with a small circle and matted with another die cut using paper from the collection. The large yellow panel, matching the mat for the sentiment was adhered directly to the card base. A panel was trimmed on each edge using more matching paper and adhered to the yellow panel. The floral spray, the bee and the sentiment were all backed in foam tape and adhered. I added the green tabs to the edge of the sentiment to give the ribbon option a nod. Glossy Accents were added to some of the elements. The inside was lined with white cardstock and decorated with coordinating paper and a bee.

Please share your work with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #381.
