Masculine cards are something I use plenty of having a husband, three brothers, four nephews and a stepson. The card could actually be gender-neutral but I intended for it to be masculine and CAS. I always have difficulty photographing glitter and foil. The silver foil frame and hexagons are not as clear as I would like.
A panel of black cardstock was die cut with a hexagon die then adhered to the white card base. The hexagon frame was also cut in silver foil and inlaid into the opening on the black cardstock. In addition to the black and silver, the hexagon die was also used to cut a few hexagons in red cardstock and cork. These were backed with Dimensionals foam and randomly placed in the spaces. There are three silver, three black, four cork, five red and three left with the white background exposed.
The sentiment was die cut in both silver foil and red cardstock. The red was used as a shadow behind the silver when adhered to the card. The inside of the card does not have a sentiment to leave room for a personal note but the right edge was decorated by adhering leftover hexagons.
