When my sister decided to have her DNA tested through Ancestry.com we were not surprised by the results in general, but we did learn that we are 37% Irish. Of one thing we are certain, part of our family came from Northern Ireland, which does not recognize St. Patrick's Day with a celebration of green, but rather with the color orange, as a tribute to King William III of Orange, who was a Protestant.
