In my continuing effort to reduce the volume of paper in my stash, I made this card for several challenges, one of which is CAS.
The frame was die cut and adhered to the navy blue card base. The floral design was on a background of navy, so it was fussy cut in as much detail as possible and adhered to the card base, allowing the image to spill out of the frame. The sentiment was die cut and adhered. In an effort to keep it as CAS as possible, there are not multiple layers or embellishments and the image and sentiment are not popped up on foam tape.
The inside of the card is decorated with the reverse side of the floral paper - a broad stripe in pink and white. A frame from the same die set was adhered, two leaves were fussy cut and tiny flowers were punched from the patterned paper. "Happy Birthday" was stamped inside the frame on the inside.
The card is being submitted to:
1. CASe This Sketch #211
2. The Paper Players #334
3. Seize the Birthday
4. Brown Sugar Challenge #240
