Sending Wishes Your Way - CAS

This card layout was CASE'd from memory but I cannot recall where I saw it. Having done it from memory it may actually be different than the original card. I used colors from Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #301, matching them as closely as possible to what I already have in my supplies. I hope you'll visit the Color Dare Blog and consider joining the challenge.

The floral image was stamped on white cardstock along with the sentiment. The left side of the panel was sponged with two ink colors and a stencil. A ribbon was added. This panel was adhered to a panel of patterned paper and then to a white card base. The enamel dots were added. The inside was decorated with a stamped leaf image.

In making this card, I found I was having difficulty with the stamps not sticking to my MISTI. This was the fourth attempt to get it stamped. This was the least damaged by the green ink from the stamp falling off of the MISTI and onto the card. I used my MONO sand eraser but some of the ink did not erase. After finishing everything, I cleaned my MISTI thoroughly and it appears that cleaning was the answer. Note to self: Clean MISTI after each use.

  2. I've really got to pull out some of the stenciling I have bought and never used...what's keeping me from doing that...loving that you did the stenciling as a border. Very pretty CAS card.

  5. I love those stencilled dots on the left - and the flower turned out beautifully (despite the MISTI issues). Lovely card - perfect with this colour combination.

  6. Sweet card! Love the colors and your stenciling along the edge is perfect. Bummer on the MISTI issues but glad that the eraser took most of the ink off. :)
